Welcome to Cineplex Entertainment’s “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For Contest” (“Contest”).
By entering this Contest, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accept the terms and conditions below.
Sponsor: Cineplex Entertainment LP (“Cineplex”) is the sponsor (“Sponsor”) of this Contest and Cineplex is responsible for conducting and administering this Contest. Prizing is provided by Entertainment One Films Canada Inc. (“eOne”)
1. How to Enter:
No purchase necessary. Contest begins at 12:00 PM (Noon) E.D.T. July 7, 2014 and ends at 12:00 PM (noon) E.D.T. on August 28, 2014 (“Contest Period”). To enter the contest, entrant must go online to Cineplex.com and complete the online entry form (the “Online Entry”).
Entrants will receive one ballot by completing the Contest entry form and answering the skill testing question. You may only enter the Contest once. In the event the Sponsor discovers attempts at multiple entries by one person using the same or multiple email addresses each entry will be discarded and the entrant disqualified at the sole discretion of Sponsor.
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
2. Prize:
Grand Prize:
There is a total of (1) one Grand Prize available to be won. The Grand Prize consists of a trip for (2) two to Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Grand Prize includes:
- tickets for two (2) to see a select Live Nation-produced/promoted concert at a Live Nation-owned/operated venue in Las Vegas
- Round trip airfare for two (2) to Las Vegas, Nevada from the airport nearest prize winner's home to the concert
- Hotel accommodation for 3 days and 2 nights based on double occupancy
- $500 spending money
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $5,300.
Tickets are subject to program availability, venue capacity and artist restrictions. Tickets to a particular concert are not guaranteed. Selection of airline, hotel and concert seat locations are solely within eOne’s discretion. All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein are solely the grand prize winner's responsibility. Sponsor or eOne reserves the right to provide ground transportation in lieu of air transportation if the grand prize winner resides within three hundred kilometers (300kms) from either trip destination. Concert must be selected at least thirty (30) days in advance of the travel date and is subject to availability and age restrictions. Winner and guest(s) must abide by all venue policies. Live Nation reserves the right to revoke full or partial prize from any winner or winner’s guest who it or venue personnel deem may, in its sole discretion, be intoxicated, be a safety risk, have violated any venue policy or law, or may bring Live Nation into disrepute All travel must be taken on or before December 31, 2014. All travel shall be subject to availability and restrictions.
Actual value of the Grand Prize will vary depending upon point of departure and fluctuation in hotel and airfare rates. Accommodations and flight times are subject to availability and black-out periods. The details of each component of the Grand Prize are as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. The Grand Prize winner and his/her traveling companion must travel on the same itinerary. No change in travelling arrangements can be made once the booking has been confirmed. The Sponsor eOne, and Live Nation are not responsible if any scheduled event is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason and winner will not be reimbursed for tickets. Tickets may be subject to issuer’s standard rain-check policies and procedures. All other costs and expenses associated with the Grand Prize, including but not limited to, ground transportation between winner’s residence and the departure airport, additional accommodations if required, meals, gratuities, insurance, items of a personal nature, applicable taxes (including airport taxes), personal charges at lodging, security fees, visas and visa fares, any and all insurance, any and all camera fees during travel, or other expenses not specifically described as included in the Grand Prize package are the responsibility of the Grand Prize winner and his/her traveling companions. The Grand Prize winner and his/her traveling companions are responsible for arranging and obtaining in advance of departure all necessary travel documentation, passports, health and other insurance as may be required. The Grand Prize winner and his/her traveling companion must have a valid passport for a 6 month period after their return and must be allowed to travel to the United States. The Grand Prize is subject to space availability at time of booking and advance reservations are required. If winner and traveling companions cannot travel between the dates specified, the Grand Prize will be forfeited in its entirety and Sponsor shall be under no obligation to provide the winner with any further compensation or an alternate Grand Prize. Either winner or travelling companions will be required to present his/her ID at hotel check-in along with a valid credit card for potential incidentals or damages. Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. Sponsor is not responsible for and will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates.
Grand Prize is non-transferable, non-salable and cannot be converted to cash, and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’ sole discretion. No lost or stolen components of the Prize will be replaced. Sponsor and eOne reserve the right to substitute the Grand Prize or Grand Prize components for one of equal or greater value if the Grand Prize should become unavailable for any reason. In the event that the winner is unable to redeem any or all of the Grand Prize components, no compensation or substitute Grand Prize will be provided. Winner is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with Grand Prize receipt and/or use.
3 Prize Drawing:
Grand Prize:
Sponsor will select in a random drawing potential Grand Prize winner on September 2, 2014 at approximately noon EDT in Toronto. The Sponsor will attempt to contact the potential Grand Prize winner by telephone or email. If the selected entrant cannot be reached within two business days after the date of the draw or after 3 attempts to contact, whichever comes first, or if the potential winner refuses to accept the Grand Prize, Sponsor shall have the right to choose another entrant from the remaining eligible entries. This process shall continue until the Grand Prize has been awarded. The potential Grand Prize winner must sign a declaration and release form confirming understanding of, compliance with, and acceptance of the Contest rules and acceptance of the Grand Prize as awarded and a standard release of all liability satisfactory to the Sponsor and eOne, before being declared the Grand Prize winner. If the potential Grand Prize winner is under the age of majority in the province or territory of his/her residence, the potential Grand Prize winner’s parent or legal guardian must sign the declaration and release form on behalf of their minor child and must be their travelling companion and chaperone and one of the two airline tickets must be issued in the name of the parent or legal guardian. If the parent or legal guardian of the potential Grand Prize winner does not accept this responsibility, the Grand Prize will be awarded to another entrant. Sponsor must receive the declaration and release form from the potential Grand Prize winner by September 5, 2014 or the potential winner will be disqualified and will not receive the Grand Prize. The companion of the Grand Prize winner must be over the age of majority in his/her province of residence unless the companion is the minor child of the winner. The companion of the Grand Prize winner (or his or her parent or legal guardian, if under the age of majority) will also be required to sign a declaration release from all liability, satisfactory to the Sponsor and eOne, . prior to issuance of travel documents.
4. Eligibility:
Contest is open to legal residents of Canada, (excluding Quebec, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and the Yukon), who are at least 21 years of age. Contest is not open to employees, immediate family members of employees and those domiciled with employees of the Sponsor or any of their respective parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies, licensees, advertising and promotional agencies (“Related Parties”). Sponsor reserves the right to verify the age of potential prize winner and that such person is not an employee (or an immediate family member of or domiciled with employees) of any Related Parties. Void where prohibited. |
