OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS “GO DIGITAL & WIN!” (the “Contest”)
A Contest Sponsored by Chill Media Inc. (the “Sponsor”)
CONTEST DURATION The Contest begins on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 9 AM ET and ends on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 11:59 AM ET (the “Contest Period”).
PRIZE
There is one () Prize available to be won in this Contest.
There is one (1) Grand Prize consisting of one (1) Samsun Galaxy Tab 4 (8" - 16GB - WiFi).
Approximate retail value of Grand Prize is $260 CDN.
Odds of winning a Prize in this Contest depends upon the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
No Purchase Necessary. To receive one entry in the contest, fill out and submit an on-line ballot at www.ichill.ca/win with your name, city, province, e-mail address, day telephone number, and complete the short consumer survey. You must agree with the Rules and Regulations to complete your entry.
Limit one entry per email address per day. Entries will be rejected if entry form is not fully completed and submitted during the Contest Period.
TELL-A-FRIEND
After completing the online entry form you have the option of emailing up to 3 friends telling them about the promotion. Complete this form with at least one valid name and email address and you will receive one additional entry in the Grand Prize Draw.
ELIGIBILITY This Contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who have reached 19 years of age at the time of participation in this Contest. You are not eligible if you are an employee, representative or agent of the Sponsor, or any of their affiliates, subsidiaries, parent or related companies, advertising or promotional agencies or a member of the immediate family (spouse, child, sibling, parent) or household of any of the above persons.
SELECTION PROCESS - GRAND PRIZE DRAW
On Friday, October 31, 2014 at approximately 12:30 PM ET in Oakville, Ontario, one (1) selected entrant will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received for the Grand Prize. The selected entrant will be contacted by telephone, no voicemail message will be left. In the event a selected entrant cannot be contacted within two (2) days of the selection date, another entrant will be selected in accordance with these Official Contest Rules. In order to be declared a Winner of the Prize, the selected entrant must complete and sign a Release & Indemnity Form and correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance or electronic aid, to be administered at a mutually convenient time over the telephone. There will be only one (1) opportunity to answer the mathematical skill-testing question. A selected entrant who provides an incorrect answer will no longer be eligible to win the Prize in this Contest. The procedure outlined above will be followed until the Prize in this Contest has been awarded. The selected entrant will have three (3) days to return their Release & Indemnity Form to the independent contest administrator. If a selected entrant does not return their Release & Indemnity Form within three (3) days, the entrant will be declared ineligible and another entrant will be selected in accordance with these Official Contest Rules.
ENTRIES All entries become the property of the Sponsor and none shall be returned. By entering this Contest, entrants indicate their consent to their personal information being stored, used and processed for purposes concerning this Contest by the Sponsor. The declared Prize Winner’s information including their name, mailing address, telephone number and/or e-mail address, will be shared with the Sponsor and the independent contest administrator, as required to award the Prize in this Contest.
RIGHTS RESERVED The Prize available in this Contest must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable and no substitutions will be made, whether in cash or otherwise, except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize of equivalent or greater value in the event that, for reasons beyond its control, the Sponsor is unable to award the Prize as described in these Official Contest Rules. In the event that the Contest is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, including any network server or hardware failure, errors in programming, printing, distribution or production errors or any other errors or other causes of any nature whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor and/or their agencies which corrupt or affect the administration, security, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, the Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or suspend the Contest, in whole or in part, or modify it in any way, at the Sponsor’s sole discretion, without advance notice. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual that it finds to be in violation of these Official Contest Rules and Regulations or tampering with the Contest process, including the use of computer software to increase the chance of winning. The Sponsor reserves the right to refuse an entry from a person whose eligibility is in question or who has been disqualified or is otherwise ineligible to participate. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. Any attempt by anyone to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is in violation of criminal and civil laws and the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages or other legal remedy to the fullest extent permitted by law.
GENERAL By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to comply with these Official Contest Rules and Regulations and with the decisions of the Sponsor and/or the independent contest administrator, which are final and shall be legally binding in all instances. By participating in this Contest, the Prize Winner agrees to sign a Declaration and Release Form in the manner prescribed herein, releasing the Sponsor, their affiliates, respective advertising and promotional agencies, and the independent contest administrator from any liability in connection with this Contest or the Prize awarded. By participating in this Contest, all entrants agree to the use of their name, address (city and province only) relating exclusively to this Contest without compensation. By accepting a Prize in this Contest, the Prize Winners absolve the Sponsor, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless from and against any and all claims and liability arising out of or in any way connected with the operation of this Contest and use of a Prize. The Prize Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Contest or use or redemption of a Prize.
In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person entering the Contest, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the natural person who is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All on-line entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of the time for the purposes of a valid entry in this Contest will be the contest administrator server machines. This Contest and the terms and conditions contained in these Official Contest Rules and Regulations, shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising hereunder shall be adjudicated solely in the applicable court in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
