HOW TO ENTER
To enter, visit the Sponsor’s Facebook page at
https://www.facebook.com/OfficialBeamCentralVacuums, click on the Messy Mystery tab under
the application section of the Beam Central Vacuum Facebook page to open the Contest. Use
the slider to identify who you believe to be the culprit of the Messy Mystery then hit the “choose”
button to continue. Complete all mandatory fields and click on “Submit”. One entry will be
recorded for each submission. When completed and submitted, the entry will be recorded
automatically. Entrants can return once a week and enter again for an additional chance to win.
This will allow for a total of 8 regular entries over the course of the contest period/per person.
BONUS ENTRIES:
Participants can share their own Messy Mystery to get the opportunity to earn up to one (1)
bonus entry (the “Bonus Entry”) per week. Participants are able to obtain up to 8 additional
entries over the course of the entire Contest period.
PRIZES:
There is a total of one (1) Prize available to be won during the contest period for Canadian
residents and one (1) Prize available to be won for US residents. Each Prize consists of One (1)
BEAM Alliance 700TCN01A Central Vacuum System with 012337 (30 ft. BEAM Q hose set).
(Approximate Retail Value for each prize is $1400.00). Prizes will include shipping to the
residence indicated on the contest entry form. Installation is not included.
If a winner is unwilling or unable to accept any of the prize in the contest as described in these
rules, an alternate winner may be selected. The depiction of the prize in any advertising or
promotional materials may not be identical to the one awarded to the Prize Winner.
Odds of being selected as a winner are dependent on the total number of eligible entries
received during the contest period.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Limit one (1) prize per person. Prizes are non-transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of
prizes is permitted except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right to
substitute prize with that of equal or greater value. Incidental expenses and all other costs and
expenses that are not specifically listed as part of a prize in these Official Rules and which are
associated with the installation and use of all or any portion of the awarded prize are solely the
responsibility of the respective prize winner. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES
ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT AND/OR USE OF ANY PRIZE IS SOLELY THE
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER WHERE APPLICABLE.
WINNER SELECTION
All eligible entries received during the Contest Period will be gathered into a database until the
Contest ends. A winner will be chosen at random. The winner(s) will be selected in Toronto,
Ontario on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 12 PM EST. Potential winners will be notified via the
email address supplied when entering the contest. Each entrant is responsible for monitoring his/her email address for receipt of notifications or other communications related to the Contest.
If the Administrator (or Sponsor) cannot reach the potential prizewinner on email address
account within fifteen (15) days of the Contest ending, or if the prize is returned as
undeliverable, that potential prizewinner shall forfeit the prize. The potential winner’s Facebook
account must match the one used upon entry, or he/she will be disqualified.
Upon the Sponsor’s request, potential winners may be required to sign a Release and/or Prize
Acceptance form. If a potential winner fails to comply with the Official Rules, that potential
winner will be disqualified. Prizes may not be awarded if an insufficient number of eligible entries
are received.
ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec, Northwest Territories,
Nunavut, Yukon, and where prohibited by law); and the continental United States (excluding
New York, Rhode Island, Florida, Alaska, Hawaii, and where prohibited by law); who are
eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry; and who have Internet access and an
active Facebook account prior to the beginning of the Contest Period. Sponsor has the right to
verify the eligibility of each entrant. Entrant must not be an employee or relative of an employee
of Electrolux or any of its affiliates, dealers or distributors.
CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest Period begins at 12:00pm EST September 8, 2014 and ends at 12:00pm EST
November 2, 2014. All entries must be received during or before the Contest Period ends. The
Sponsor reserves the right to extend or shorten the contest period at their sole discretion.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to indemnify, release and hold harmless the
Sponsor and its respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, the Contest Administrator,
Facebook, and other agents from any liability, damages or losses – directly or indirectly –
resulting from that entrant participating in the Contest and/or the acceptance, use or misuse of
any prize that may be won.
The Sponsor will not be responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete or destroyed entries. The
Sponsor does not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry
information, technical malfunctions, human or technical errors, printing errors, lost, delayed or
garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any
telephone lines. Entry material/data that have been tampered with or altered are void.
PUBLICITY
By participating, each entrant grants the Sponsor permission to use his/her name, likeness,
videos, pictures or comments for publicity purposes without payment or additional consideration,
except where applicable by law.

The Messy Mystery Contest is sponsored by BEAM Central Vacuum Systems. This Contest is
regulated by these official rules. By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to comply
with these Official Rules (including all eligibility requirements) and understands that the results
of the contest, as determined by the Sponsor and its agents, are final with no exception. The
contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations, and is VOID WHERE
APPLICABLE.
